A few matters you may need to be aware of:
- the case of Warren Farm (Wokingham) Ltd and Wokingham Borough Council (CO/1017/2019) at the end of July confirmed that Class Q applications must be determined within 56 days. That period cannot be extended even if both parties agree;
- there have been many updates to the Planning Practice Guidance Suite. Before quoting from any sections you are advised to check the latest version on line;
- if you are going to be involved in an appeal, the Planning Inspectorate has issued revised procedures for Statements of Case and Statements of Common Ground. The latter, particularly, should now become more useful.
