Tony Kernon is a Chartered Surveyor and a Fellow of the
British Institute of Agricultural Consultants. He has specialised
in agricultural, equestrian and rural planning matters.
He has 28 years’ experience in this specialism and works nationwide
advising landowners and farmers, as well as local
planning authorities, on the need for new essential workers’
dwellings. He has been involved in Government funded research
into this topic.
Tony regularly acts for applicants and local planning authorities
at appeal (typically an Informal Hearing or a Public Inquiry) on dwellingrelated
