James Gillies

Based in Oxfordshire, James built 25 years of experience from starting and growing a practical land management, woodland and farm contracting company. 

In 2014, he set up James Gillies Consultancy, an independent land management advisory company to specialise in the 4W's - Woodlands, Wetlands, Wildlife, and Wildflowers, and with his small team, create practical solutions that balance farm & estate profitability with ecological stewardship, from design through sourcing funding to scheme implementation and ongoing management. 

James is a Grown In Britain woodland management Expert Provider.

Outside of work James has a young family, is a qualified Rugby Coach & Coach Mentor and is Chairman of Witney RFC Mini & Junior Rugby.
