I am an Associate member of British Institute of Agricultural Consultants (BIAC) and I work for Savills (UK) Ltd in Norwich as a Farm Consultant Graduate. I have worked for Savills for three years and my role includes environmental scheme applications (i.e. BPS, CSS), contract farming agreements, Red Tractor Scheme applications, farm business administration as well as day to day farm tasks including ordering seed and agrichemicals as well as selling harvested crops.
Before joining Savills I graduated from Easton College in Norwich with a BSc (Hons) in Agriculture and worked for a grain merchant based on Norfolk. As part of my degree I specialized in livestock management and after leaving college my family and I set up a flock of rare breed sheep which now consists of Wensleydales, Teeswaters and Norfolk Horns. By having the sheep I feel it gives me a greater practical understanding of agriculture which helps me with my day to day job. Outside of work I also attend Norfolk Young Farmers where I am the current press officer for my local club.
