Young Consultant of the year Presentation
(Sponsored by Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank)
Congratulations to Lucy Hopwood ‘BIAC Young Consultant of the Year’
Lucy Hopwood is the NNFCC's Head of Biomass and Biogas and received the BIAC Young Consultant of the year from Poul Christensen Chairman of Natural England at a presentation lunch in London on the 17th January 2012.
The prestigious annual award is given to young consultants who have demonstrated excellence in agricultural consultancy. This year's award was presented to Lucy Hopwood for her farm-scale anaerobic digestion plant efficiency report for the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) and her wider involvement in the industry.
Speaking at the award ceremony in London she said: "It's a great honour to be awarded the title of BIAC's Young Consultant of the Year 2011 and I am delighted that my contribution, passion and commitment to the AD industry has been recognised. The entries were hugely diverse but for once AD came out on top...let's hope it's a sign of things to come in 2012."
This years competition was sponsored by Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank.
